Greger/Peterson Associates, Inc., a retained search and advisory firm with offices in Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR merges with New York-based AETHOS Consulting Group, a global executive search and advisory firm. Both firms are leaders in providing services to the Hospitality & Leisure industry, plus Greger/Peterson brings experience in Entertainment & Media as well.
Greger/Peterson Associates, Inc. will begin operating immediately under the AETHOS Consulting Group name. “Embracing one name and unifying as one firm is key,” says Ken Greger, Co-Founder & Managing Director. “This isn’t about egos – it’s about creating the best advisory firm on the planet.”
“We’re always striving to refine our services and to optimize business outcomes for our clients. We’re not in the placement business – anyone can do that. We’re strategic partners helping to build companies. AETHOS operates with the same point of view and that alignment was essential to making this merger happen,” says Greger.
Both firms are thought leaders, enjoy excellent reputations and share key values. The new combined entity assures clients they will be getting the very best. The commitment to delivering quality results is stronger than ever, and clients will benefit from even broader expertise, value-added advisory services and global reach.”
Keith Kefgen, CEO & Managing Director for AETHOS adds, “Not only are we excited to have Ken Greger, John Peterson and Matt Peterson join us as partners, AETHOS also gains a West Coast presence and ‘boots on the ground,’ which is a critical component of our continued growth strategy. This merger and the increased aggregate expertise will result in substantial benefits for our operating and investor clients.”
Formerly Head of the U.S. Hospitality Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, Co-Founder John Peterson left to join Ken Greger in forming Greger/Peterson Associates. He says, “Just as we are with search assignments, we had to be careful about overall fit with AETHOS to ensure we had an exceptional match with exceptional professionals. That’s not easy to find, but the merger epitomizes our belief that the combined firm is exactly that.”
Matt Peterson, John’s son, who joined the firm over eight years ago and is also a partner, adds, “AETHOS provides a platform that allows us to increase service to clients and expand our international capabilities. We’re excited to bring even more value to our clients.”
