“Dr. Jim” Houran, Organizational Psychology Advisor, is a 30-year veteran in applied psychological research and a published expert on peak performance, online testing, and interpersonal and organizational compatibility. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed research articles, and his award-winning work has been profiled by a myriad of media outlets and programs including the Discovery Channel, A&E, BBC, Court TV, NBC’s The Today Show, New Scientist, Psychology Today and Forbes.com.

His focus is helping businesses with service-driven cultures to strengthen their teams’ alignment and effectiveness. This includes leadership coaching, team building and development sessions, executive retreat facilitation, as well as consultation on organizational dynamics and strategic planning. Dr. Jim has a B.A. in Psychology from Benedictine University, M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Adelaide. Aside from supporting AETHOS Consulting Group with organizational psychology work, he also serves as a Research Professor in the Research Group on Economic Behavior and Subjective Well-Being, Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid, Spain.
